Optical Reference Systems Ltd was founded in the year 2000 as a spin out from a UK university. Today, after substantial venture capital investment, ORS Ltd has grown to a staff of 12 people with a broad range of skills and experience.
Originally created to provide in situ monitoring solutions for the MOCVD R&D academic institutions and companies, ORS has now grown into a global in situ solutions provider for many different types of thin-film deposition systems.
We pride ourselves on our excellent level of customer service and our ability to provide the right solutions to the customers’ requirements, whether that is an “out of the box” or a fully customised solution. This ability has allowed us to develop both open-loop and closed-loop feedback control systems on many different types of deposition systems thus reducing the cost of production and higher yields.
